2018-2027 Jeep Wrangler JL Factory OEM Mopar Passive Entry Keyless Go Upgrade

This Infotainment.com exclusive factory OEM Mopar Jeep Wrangler JL passive entry kit is a 100% plug & play option now available for all 2018+ Wrangler JL. In the Passive Entry Keyless Go (PEKG) system the doors are unlocked passively; however, they must still be locked actively after exiting the vehicle using the tactile Lock button on either front door smart handle or the swing gate handle switch. When the system senses a hand approaching the capacitive switch in the handle or detects a button press of the swing gate switch, it sends out challenge messages through the LF antennas to authenticate the presence and location of a valid key fob.

The key fob responds by sending a Ultra High Frequency (UHF) message back to the receiver within the RF-Hub. If the RF-Hub determines the key fob is valid and that it is located outside the vehicle in the same zone or vicinity as the door handle or swing gate handle switch being activated, it sends an electronic unlock request to automatically unlock and allow entry.

Our kit includes the security gateway module bypass and the OBD Genie C-GXD programmer which will enable the "GXD : Remote Proximity Keyless Entry" option code within the Jeep's body control module. Dealer programming is not required!
