A: At this time, the gear shift buttons on the gear stalk are not functional on Lightning models. We are actively developing a solution that will allow these buttons to be mapped to customizable functions in a future update.

Q: How can I stay informed about future F-150 Lightning support?

Q: Do 2024+ F-150 models require additional programming?
A: Yes. 2024 and newer F-150 models require programming of the TRON (Trusted Real-Time Operation Network) module by a Ford dealer in order for the shifter status to display correctly in the instrument cluster.

Q: Will the shifter still function if the TRON module is not programmed?
A: Yes. The shifter will operate mechanically without TRON programming; however, the cluster will not properly reflect the shifter status until the module is programmed.

Q: Is dealer programming included with this upgrade?
A: No. Any dealer fees associated with TRON module programming are the responsibility of the vehicle owner and are not included with the purchase of this upgrade.

Q: Is the TRON programming process complicated?
