Ford F-150 Remote Start

NOTE: This Remote Start Upgrade is non-refundable upon purchase, as it includes VIN-specific key cuts for the keys provided.

This Infotainment.com exclusive factory OEM Mopar F-Series remote start option is now available for all 2011-2014 F-150 trucks, 2011-2014 Edge SUVs and 2013-2015 Flex SUVs. Remote start conveniently starts the engine from outside the vehicle while maintaining security. The system has a targeted range of at least 91 m (300 ft). The vehicle must be locked, the tailgate and hood closed and the transmission in Park in order to start the engine using the Remote Start button on the key fob.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS UPGRADE:

  • At least 2 keys that start your truck
  • A complete and submitted Vehicle Proof of Ownership Form.
  • Keyless Entry
  • Hood pin (Part # BC3Z-14018-A) as seen below

Q: Will the remote start system work in all conditions?
A: No. The remote start system will not operate under certain vehicle conditions.

Q: When will the remote start system NOT function?
A: The remote start system will not work if:

  • The ignition is on
  • The alarm system is triggered
  • The feature is disabled
  • The hood is open
  • The transmission is not in Park (P)
  • The vehicle battery voltage is too low
  • The “Service Engine Soon” light is on
