It can also show nearby points of interest and estimated arrival time.

This is true plug-and-play convenience. Every unit is pre-programmed to your vehicle’s 17-digit VIN, ensuring it functions exactly like factory right out of the box.

Product installation

Installation of this product would be rated a 3 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected. Remove and replace your existing radio by removing the radio "bezel" dash surround trim typically held in with a few screws and retaining clips.

A: Simply ensure the year range, make, and model of your vehicle matches the title of this advertisement. For a more technical explanation, your vehicle should be equipped with Sync [IEVAB0 : with Sync]. Rest assured, we will also check compatibility based on your specific 17-digit VIN once the order has been placed.

Q: Are the knobs on the radio chrome or black?
A: Please note that while the product images may show chrome buttons, the actual knobs on this GPS Navigation Radio may be black. The black knobs are 100% OEM and fully compatible with the unit.

Q: Will the included amplifier be factory or aftermarket?
A: Aftermarket, the original factory amplifier was discontinued from Ford so we found the ideal (and better sounding) plug & play aftermarket solution for this upgrade.

Q: Will it work with my factory SiriusXM® satellite radio?
A: Yes, it comes pre-programmed to work with your vehicle’s factory-installed SiriusXM® system. Simply follow the directions to install the Brick kit's included Sirius/GPS splitter to retain the feature. If your vehicle isn’t equipped, you will be required to install our Ford GPS Antenna (sold separately). Furthermore, if you would like to add SiriusXM® satellite radio then purchase our Magnetic SiriusXM Antenna.

Q: Will my steering wheel audio controls still work?
A: Yes, the system is pre-programmed to retain full functionality of your factory steering wheel-mounted audio controls.

Q: Is my factory backup camera compatible?
A: Yes, it works with your existing back-up rear view camera, simply add our Rear View Mirror Backup Camera Reroute Kit. If you would like to add a rear view back-up camera check out most popular plug & play FG1 Rear View Camera Bundle.

Q: Will Bluetooth hands-free calling still function?
A: Yes, it is pre-programmed to work with your factory Sync® Bluetooth hands-free calling. Simply pair your phone to the new system. If you do not currently have SYNC® this upgrade will not add it. Vehicles not equipped with SYNC® can disregard the instructions of installing the XP1, XP2, and replacement right-hand steering wheel control.

Q: Will the unit feature the latest & greatest GPS map data?
A: Unfortunately the latest mapping data was discontinued by Ford. We cannot guarantee the latest version will be pre-loaded onto your radio.

Q: Do I need to inform Infotainment if my vehicle has aftermarket additions?
A: Yes. If your vehicle has non-factory additions, let us know in your Shopping Cart “Order Notes” so we can properly program and enable any required features that may not be present on your vehicle’s original build sheet.
