Product installation

Installation of this product would be rated a 1 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected.

  • Locate the security gateway module found behind the driver's knee bolster. (Refer to photo below)
  • Unplug the smaller 8-pin plug "C2" and mate it to the device's female connector
  • Plug the device's male connector into the security gateway module

Things to Know
  • Defects are extremely rare. Most "issues" are a misunderstanding of how the device works.The Autostop Eliminator functions to restore the last state. Assuming OFF is your preference, you may need to manually turn auto start-stop OFF once. After that, it'll stay OFF.
