Installation of this product would be rated a 2 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected.

Things to Know

By using this kit you will not gain dual AUTO climate control. The climate must be adjusted using the driver's side controls only. It is recommended to utilize the "SYNC" button so the driver's side temperature and passenger's side temperature are the same.
95% of Jeeps come pre-wired for both the cabin temperature sensor and sun sensor. However, if your Jeep lacks pre-wiring for the Sun Sensor and/or Cabin Sensor, it will require an additional harness to make this upgrade compatible: CLICK HERE to also purchase that harness with this kit.
If you have a 2022-2023 Jeep, upgrading from the base 5" UAA radio to a 7" UAG (Wrangler or Gladiator) or 8.4" UAQ (Wrangler or Gladiator), and would prefer to simply retain your volume knob, purchase our Manual Jeep Climate Control Upgrade instead.
