Installation of this product would be rated a 2 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected.

Q: Will this kit give me dual automatic climate control?
A: No. This kit does not add dual AUTO climate control. Temperature must be adjusted using the driver’s side controls only.

Q: How should I manage passenger and driver temperatures?
A: It is recommended to use the “SYNC” button so both the driver and passenger temperatures remain the same.

Q: Is my Jeep already wired for the required sensors?
A: Most Jeeps (approximately 95%) come pre-wired for both the cabin temperature sensor and sun sensor.

Q: What if my Jeep is not pre-wired for the sun or cabin sensor?
A: If your Jeep is not pre-wired, an additional harness will be required for compatibility.

Q: Is there an alternative option for 2022–2023 Jeep models?
A: Yes. If you are upgrading from a base 5" UAA radio to a 7" UAG (WranglerorGladiator) or 8.4" UAQ (Wrangler or Gladiator) and prefer to retain a physical volume knob, you can choose the Manual Jeep Climate Control Upgrade instead.
