As an update to my prior review – After many (far too many) phone calls to Sirius, I finally got traffic and weather working. Ultimately, the fix is to keep calling until you speak with someone that will add Travel Link (for traffic) and NavWeather (for weather). NavTraffic is *not* supported. The Sirius reps will persistently tell you that your radio ID is “not eligible”. Once they say that, just give up as nothing you say will change their mind. At that point, just hang up and call back. Eventually, you’ll get someone that just adds the services without insisting that it doesn’t work.

Relatively easy to install but it’s harder to get to the driver’s side with a manual as the clutch pedal makes it pretty tight. Definitely doable, though, and it works just fine in my 2016 Z06. The YouTube videos are extremely helpful, but it would be nice if they also showed the process to put everything back together. Yes, it’s just the reverse of disassembly, but it would be nice to see the process as there are some small things to consider (such as getting that A-pillar back in place when the headliner piece is in the way.)

Once installed, it works as expected for enabling nav, with the exception of no turn-by-turn directions on the HUD (they do appear on the dash). One point of note – the GPS antenna did not have good reception for me under the front speaker. I ended up moving it to the engine bay, where it works much better. It seems like the speaker location would have a clear view of the sky, but apparently not. Finally, I have been unable to activate Sirius Weather despite a lot of phone calls with both OnStar and Sirius. A minor point, but that’s not working for me.

Easy to install. Plug and play with no issues at all. Happy to have my infotainment system back up and running along with front/rear camera systems and all that the system controls.

I installed the unit in my car, but had lots of issues so I called tech support. They said reinstall your original module and see if the issues go away, they did. So I sent it back so they can find the problem. Waiting to get it back hopefully working properly.

Installation took about an hour, and the unit came to life as soon as it was powered and "found" itself in the GPS world. Works like it was installed from the factory, and now the task is to learn how to get the most out of it.

Installation was harder than it looked–mine was made more difficult as the clutch peddle restricted any "wiggling". Remove the diagnostic port so that you can move the large wiring harness out of the way.

It added the nav seamlessly. Works and looks like the factory install.

I bought this unit a little while ago, but it took some time to get it installed (I needed some help from a younger and more nimble relative), but once installed and the antenna relocated to a place that seemed to give better reception, it fired right up and has been operating flawlessly. Everything operates as advertised-my only worry is that a technician at the dealership will try to reflash it when the car is in for something else, but I’ll try to make sure that that doesn’t happen.

The cost is a bit high but that’s what I get by not purchasing when I bought my car. Install was easy as pie. Once it stated up had issues with pinpoint accuracy it was always showing me off the route path also does not see my contacts address in my I phone but it’s not essential for me.

Z06 had everything I wanted except for the Nav. Dealer service department told me it could not be added after market. Did online search and found you. Dealer Service Manager said service Dept was wrong and that they would install it. Works perfect except for sending turn by turn directions to Nav. OnStar was useless. Went to your support site, called OnStar & asked for upper level tech. Prope request is to ask for OSTA when calling from car. They will transfer and make needed modifications.

Thank you for a great product and the info you provide online. Much appreciated.

Works great, I am really stoked. Everything as advertised. I wish the PDR option could be enabled 🙂 The only thing I would comment on regarding the installation video is, at least for my 2016 stingray, the speaker grille had a speaker attached and the GPS needed to be sort of scooted down into the gap below the A-pillar on the far left of the speaker. I also had the voice microphone up there so there was another connector, but it was just like the one for the vanity light so no problem. For my car, I think it would have been easier to take off the plastic door molding first thing. The wiring below my radio made it really hard to extract. I had to unscrew the hood latch and diagnostic link connector to move the wiring harness enough to get it out and back in, and with the side panel removed it helped to put the new one in as well. Otherwise that was really helpful. I would never have had the courage to rip my car apart like that if I hadn’t seen the video.

Best service in the business, state of the arts quality product, and the installation instructions were exactly as indicated on the suggested video. I demonstrated this upgrade to my wife who drives a Lexus and she was so jeleous. I think it is so cool that I have the state of the art infotainment system in my 2015 corvette that was installed by myself. My Chevy Service Agent told me I couldn’t get the upgrades, Wrong!! Thanks guys, please help keep me as one of the coolest guy in Alabama.

              • Look for a notice of attempted delivery
              • Look around the delivery location for your package. Many times carriers will place the package in a location that isn’t typical, ie. behind the fence, by the garage, near the mailbox, etc.
              • See if someone else accepted the delivery such as a family member or neighbor. In recent past, customers have found the package mixed with other family member’s packages inside their home several days after delivery.

          For missing UPS/FedEx shipped packages:

              • A UPS1-800-742-5877 or FedEx1-800-463-3339 trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. This process takes up to 8 business days to be completed.

          For missing USPS packages:

              • A US Postal Service 1-800-222-1811 trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. Many times USPS will suggest that it will take an extra 7 business days after the expected date of delivery to locate the package.

For missing packages that have been shipped to an APO/FPO:

              • Please note that the Military Postal Service Agency does not consider a package to be lost until 60 days after the date of mailing. If the customer still has not received their package after 60 days then please contact customer service to assist you in filing a missing package inquiry with the MPSA. Once the inquiry is received, the MPSA will be in contact to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient should it be found.

In the event a lost or missing package is not recovered within 14-days (domestic shipments) or 30-days (international shipments) a police report may be required at the discretion of the customer support manager. All part numbers and/or serial numbers are recorded prior to shipping, this vital information will assist the police with the investigation. Depending solely on the circumstances, the customer support manager may opt to release another identical shipment requiring a direct signature of the original buyer.
