The GM SiriusXM Satellite Radio Antenna Kit comes in 3 variants:

Hard Mount T1 - This antenna is a 100% factory OEM GM® part. It is designed to be installed on your vehicle's roof. Simply remove your existing OnStar antenna and replace it. Route the wiring to the radio ACM module. *Designed for 2019+ body style full-size trucks & SUVs. Radio option code should be IOR only.

Hard Mount K2 - This antenna is a 100% factory OEM GM® part. It is designed to be installed on your vehicle's roof. Simply remove your existing OnStar antenna and replace it. Route the wiring to the radio ACM module. *Designed for 2014-2019 body style full-size trucks & SUVs. Radio option code should be IO3 / IO4 / IO5 / IO6 / or IOB.

Magnetic Mount - This high-quality aftermarket antenna magnetically installs on the exterior of the vehicle. Route the wiring to the radio ACM module. *Designed for all GM vehicles

Installation of this product would be rated a 3 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult.

Hard Mount T1 & K2 Install - Simply remove your existing antenna located on the roof held in place with a single 10mm bolt. Route the wiring loom to the radio ACM module location. Swap modules and install the antenna connector to the curry/yellow FAKRA connector.
Magnetic Mount Install - Refer to basic install instructions below.

A: No. The antenna housing is textured black and is not painted.
