Overview

The 360 Car Camera Upgrade 2021-2023 Ford F-150 Owners Have Been Waiting For

You bought one of the most capable trucks on the road. But every time you pull into a tight parking spot, attempt to solo-hitch a trailer, or squeeze down a narrow lane, that wide, flat hood and those massive blind spots remind you of one thing: your F-150 is missing its eyes.

No bird's-eye view. No top-down overlay. No bed camera. Just guesswork, curb rash, and the occasional tap against a parking block.

That ends today. Infotainment.com has officially answered the call from hundreds of F-150 owners, and this is the 360 car camera upgrade your truck was always built to have.

What You Get with This 360 Car Camera Upgrade for Your 2021–2023 F-150

This is a complete, plug-and-play 360 camera system pre-programmed to your exact 17-digit VIN. No dealer visits. No generic aftermarket screens. No spliced wires.

Everything arrives ready to install, engineered to activate natively through your truck's factory SYNC 4 display and the physical camera button already on your dash.

At a glance, here is what this upgrade delivers:

  • True 360-degree bird's-eye view displayed directly on your SYNC 4 screen
  • Front view camera mounted discreetly behind the F-150 front emblem
  • Side mirror cameras integrated into your door mirrors for complete lateral coverage
  • Optional cargo bed camera for a live feed of your truck bed while you drive
  • Optional blind spot monitoring available when you select compatible mirrors
  • Trailer and hitch overhead view for solo hookups without a spotter
  • Dynamic split-screen parking views including front, rear, and side-by-side angles
  • Pre-programmed to your 17-digit VIN for seamless, plug-and-play installation
  • IPMA (Image Processing Module A) included in the kit, upgraded for full 360 functionality
  • Zero dealership labor required, saving you thousands in retrofit fees

Why F-150 Owners Without a 360 Car Camera Feel It Every Day

The 14th-generation F-150 is a long, wide, and imposing truck. Without the factory 360 camera system, that size works against you.

Parking in tight city lots means relying on guesswork to protect your rims from curb contact. Hitching a trailer solo means crawling back and forth, squinting in your rearview mirror, and hoping your ball lines up. Navigating narrow commercial garages means calling for spotters or making multiple correction passes.

On the trail, hidden obstacles sit directly under your front corners with no way to see them. On the highway, hauling cargo you cannot monitor in your bed is a blind risk every mile. And when trade-in time comes, buyers shopping used F-150s prioritize technology packages. A truck without the 360 camera system can sit longer and sell for less.

This camera 360 auto upgrade removes all of that friction in one installation.

How the 360 Car Camera System Works on Your F-150

Once installed and calibrated, activating your 360 camera system is instant. Put the truck in reverse and the system launches automatically. Prefer to use it while driving forward? Press the dedicated camera button on your dash and toggle through every available view.

Your available camera views include:

  • Forward view from the front grille emblem camera
  • Stitched bird's-eye overhead view combining front, side, and rear cameras
  • Full rear backup camera view
  • Cargo bed view (when optional bed camera is added)
  • Trailer hitch overhead view for precise ball alignment
  • Side-by-side split views for tight parking situations
  • Trailer side view that activates automatically with your turn signal while towing

The side-view cameras also support a particularly useful feature while towing: when you activate your blinker, the corresponding mirror camera automatically displays on-screen so you can see exactly what is in your blind spot as you change lanes. That is factory-grade intelligence working for you.

Camera 360 Auto Calibration: Built Into the Process

After installation, two calibration procedures complete the setup using FORScan software.

First, the front camera alignment runs while driving over 40 mph in a straight line through an open area. A progress bar tracks completion, and the procedure finishes quickly in any large, low-traffic space like a school parking lot or an empty shopping center.

Second, the 360 camera calibration stitches all camera images together into one seamless overhead view. You drive slowly at 3 to 5 mph in a straight line, making U-turns as needed, until each camera reaches 100 percent and the procedure completes successfully. The result is a clean, continuous image that looks exactly as it would from the factory.

Detailed programming instructions are included with your purchase, and a step-by-step installation video is available in a dedicated tab on this page.

Mirror Options for Your 360 Car Camera Upgrade

The side mirrors are customer-sourced and available in multiple configurations. When selecting your mirrors for this camera 360 auto upgrade, you can choose:

  • With or without cameras already integrated into the mirror housing
  • With or without blind spot monitoring capability
  • Standard mirror size or upgraded F-150 tow mirror size
  • With or without power folding capability
  • Painted finishes to match your truck's exterior color

If you are already considering an upgrade to tow mirrors, this installation is the perfect opportunity to add that at the same time.

Ready to Give Your F-150 the 360 Car Camera It Deserves?

This is not an aftermarket workaround. This is the OEM 360 camera system your F-150 was engineered to run, unlocked and installed the right way. Pre-programmed to your VIN. Plug-and-play ready.
