Installation of this product would be rated a 2 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected.

Q: Will this harness work with any 2019–2024 Ram center console?

A: No. Although the center consoles may look the same, 2019–2024 Ram 1500 and Heavy Duty models use different hub pinouts, so the console components are not interchangeable. Be sure to purchase the center console parts that match your specific truck model. The required part numbers are listed in the Installation tab on this page.

Q: I already bought a center console from the wrong Ram model. Can I still use this harness?

A: Not yet. We're currently developing a compatibility harness for customers who purchased the incorrect center console. If you're in this situation, please contact our customer support team for the latest availability and updates.

Q: Where can I purchase a compatible floor console?
A: Compatible floor consoles can often be found through automotive recycling yards. Search for available parts at www.car-part.com.

Q: Do the rear USB ports support data transfer?
A: Not all rear USB ports support data transfer. Check the symbol next to each USB port:

If the port has the USB symbol, it supports both data transfer and charging.
If the port has USB inside a battery symbol, it is power-only and will charge devices but does not support data transfer.

Q: Which rear USB port connects to the radio?
A: In the example shown below, the left USB port supports data and connects to the radio, while the right USB port is for charging only and does not provide a data connection.
