Product installation

Simply remove and replace your truck's side-view mirrors. Remove and replace the right front door module, the left front door module, and the left front door switch. Once the hardware installation is complete temporarily install the included bypass device so you can run the included OBD Genie C-PFM programmer by plugging it into the truck's OBDII port under the steering column. Once the green light appears the programming is complete and the bypass device can be removed!

Q: Does this kit include a 2-door or 4-door switch?
A: This kit comes with a 4-door switch. If your Ram requires a 2-door switch, please contact our team to place a special order.

Q: Will the driver-side auto-dimming mirror function with this upgrade?
A: Yes. The driver-side auto-dimming mirror will function as long as your truck has a factory-installed interior auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Q: Does Ram offer a passenger-side auto-dimming mirror?
A: No. Ram does not offer passenger-side auto-dimming mirrors.

Q: Will I retain heated mirror functionality?
A: Yes. If your vehicle is equipped with heated mirrors, that feature will be retained after installation.

Q: Will my order arrive in a single package?
A: Not always. Orders may ship in two or three separate packages depending on stock availability.

Q: Does this upgrade support 360 Surround Camera integration?
A: No. The side mirrors do not currently support 360 Surround Camera functionality.

Q: What if I’m upgrading from standard mirrors to tow mirrors?
A: If upgrading from a standard 6x9 mirror to a 7x11 tow mirror setup, tow mirror reinforcement components may be required. Please refer to the provided diagrams for guidance.

Q: Is this upgrade compatible with manual window vehicles?
A: No. This upgrade is only compatible with vehicles equipped with power windows and power door locks. Manual roll-up window vehicles are not supported.

Q: How do I reset the power window auto-down feature after installation?
A: To reprogram the auto-down function, hold the driver or passenger window switch in the down position for approximately 10 seconds.
