Now select 2019+ Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon owners can upgrade from the base-model "IOR - Infotainment 3 System" to the "IOU - Infotainment 3 Plus System" found in upper trim-level truck build configurations.
This reconditioned, OEM solution allows you to take advantage of all the features the IOU system provides such as genuine GM embedded GPS navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto® and much more. Utilize the built in 2D or 3D GPS mapping including turn-by-turn directions, multiple map view, frequently used destinations, routing progress, and voice guidance. You will gain full functionality just like you would from the factory!
Ensure your vehicle has the IOR "Infotainment 3 System" and the UE1 "OnStar Equipped" build codes. You can find these by scanning your QR Code on the inside of your driver's side door with your phone.
This system contains integrated mapping which provides full coverage for: USA, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Mexico, and Canada.

Remove & replace 8-inch touchscreen display including plug & play wiring
Remove & replace IOR module for IOU module including plug & play wiring
Install plug & play wiring from IOU module to Onstar module
Remove & replace USB media hub
Remove & replace the backup camera (located in tailgate handle) and route plug & play video camera wire to IOU module
Remove & replace antenna on roof for one that features SiriusXM and route plug & play wire to IOU module (optional)

Q: What should I do if my backup camera isn't aligned correctly after installation?
A: If your backup camera mounting isn't perfect, refer to our backup camera alignment guide for a quick resolution.

Q: Will I gain over-the-air updates, built-in Wi-Fi, or downloadable apps with the IOU upgrade?
A: No. Upgrading to the IOU infotainment system does not add over-the-air software updates, integrated LTE Wi-Fi, or app downloads. These subscription-based features require different OnStar hardware and are not compatible with this upgrade.

Q: Do I need a different mounting bracket for the IOU module?
A: If desired, you can purchase a replacement IOU module bracket separately from your local GM dealer. Part Number: 84540186.

Q: Will my factory MyLink® or IntelliLink® Bluetooth hands-free calling still work?
A: Yes. The system is pre-programmed to function with your vehicle's existing MyLink® or IntelliLink® Bluetooth hands-free calling feature.

Q: Will my steering wheel audio controls continue to work?
A: Yes. The system is pre-programmed to retain your factory steering wheel-mounted audio controls.

Q: Will I keep Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®?
A: Yes. Your existing Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® functionality is retained, with the added benefit of wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®.

Q: Will my factory backup camera still work?
A: Yes. The system is pre-programmed to work with your factory backup camera. A replacement high-quality backup camera compatible with the premium infotainment system is also included with the kit.

Q: Will my SiriusXM® satellite radio continue to work?
A: Yes. Your existing SiriusXM® functionality is retained. After installation, simply contact SiriusXM® to transfer your subscription to the new system.

Q: Can I add SiriusXM® if my vehicle isn't currently equipped with it?
A: Yes. If you'd like to add SiriusXM® satellite radio, select the kit option that includes the SiriusXM antenna before checking out.
