Product Overview

The IO6 GPS navigation upgrade brings factory functionality to your vehicle with premium OEM components. Adds factory navigation capabilities, touchscreen interface, voice-guided turn-by-turn directions, and retains Bluetooth connectivity and steering wheel controls.

Vehicle Compatibility

Compatible with 2016-2018 Chevrolet Malibu models equipped with the IO5 MyLink system. Vehicles with Bose audio require an additional amplifier harness.

Installation & Operation

Install by replacing the existing head unit with the IO6 module and navigation antenna. Connect the harness and perform a simple programming sequence using the included software.

Product installation

Installation of this product would be rated a 2 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected. Remove and replace your vehicle's HMI module with the our pre-programmed replacement HMI module. (Refer to PIC 1A) Route the GPS antenna just beneath the dash top (under the windshield) and plug the blue connector into the newly installed HMI module. Done!
