- Decoding your vehicle’s 17-digit VIN to verify compatibility and confirm all selected options are correct
- Identifying and sourcing the exact components required for your specific vehicle, including genuine OEM parts
- Verifying that all included plug-and-play wiring matches your vehicle’s exact factory specifications
- Professionally programming and bench-testing your upgrade to ensure proper operation before shipment
- Documenting the process with photos and/or videos for quality assurance
- Carefully assembling your order for a secure shipment by our warehouse team
- Coordinating with our customer service and technical support staff so they are fully prepared to assist you before, during, and after installation

Q: Will this upgrade require an antitheft code?
A: Yes, the upgrade will require a 4-digit antitheft code. We will conveniently provide a card with the specific code as well as a sticker applied to the radio.
Q: Will this upgrade work right away after installation?
A: Yes, the system will function upon installation, but please allow up to 48 hours for the system to fully sync and acclimate to your vehicle for all features to appear on-screen.
Q: Will my heated / ventilated seats and heated steering wheel soft buttons appear on-screen?
A: Yes, all vehicles equipped with a these features will work plug & play except the 2014 model year, simply purchase our GenieMAX Seat & Steering Wheel Emulator.
Q: Will my rear backup camera continue to work as designed?
A: Yes, all vehicles equipped with a backup camera are programmed to work plug & play.
If you experience any back up camera issues after installation, please allow up to 48 hours for the system to sync fully and acclimate to your vehicle.
Q: Is SiriusXM™ satellite radio supported?
A: Yes, the system is pre-programmed for full SiriusXM satellite radio functionality. Simply connect your factory radio's curry colored FAKRA plug to the newly installed radio.
- If your vehicle does not have SiriusXM satellite radio there is a high probability the vehicle has an antenna already capable of SiriusXM. The connector behind your factory radio will be a teal colored FAKRA plug, simply mate it to the radio's curry FAKRA plug.
- If your vehicle does not have SiriusXM satellite radio and your factory radio features a blue FAKRA plug, purchase our FAKRA C to K Cable to gain just a GPS navigation signal or purchase our Custom SiriusXM GPS Antenna Kit for full SiriusXM capability.
Q: Will my steering wheel audio controls continue to work?
A: Yes. The system is pre-programmed to work with your factory steering wheel-mounted audio controls.
Q: Will my factory Bluetooth hands-free calling still work?
A: Yes. The upgrade is fully pre-programmed to function with your existing Uconnect™ Bluetooth hands-free calling system. Simply pair your phone to the new system.
Q: Is the factory remote CD player compatible with Uconnect 4™?
A: Yes, the factory installed CD player will work plug & play. If you're interested in adding this convenient feature, refer to our Factory OEM CD Player Upgrade.
Q: Do I need any additional parts to retain rear climate control functions when upgrading the radio in a 2014 or 2015 Dodge Durango?
A: Yes. If your 2014 or 2015 Dodge Durango is equipped with rear climate controls and you want to retain that functionality, additional modules may be required:
- To retain rear climate control operation from the rear control panel, you must purchase a Rear Climate Control Module (Part Number: 68368988AA) from your local Dodge dealer. This module is located in the headliner above the rear seats.
- To retain rear climate control operation through the radio touchscreen, you must also purchase an HVAC Module (Part Number: 68321559AD). This module is located behind the radio screen.
Installing these modules will help ensure that rear climate control functions continue to operate as intended after the radio upgrade.
Q: Although I don't use the Sirius Guardian™ smartphone application subscription, will I retain it if I decide to use it one day?
A: Vehicles equipped with the older telematics features such as Sirius Guardian™, Uconnect Access™, 4G LTE Hotspot, etc will forfeit those features when upgrading. The Uconnect 4™ system has an internal telematics card which cannot be subscribed to or retrofitted at this time.
Q: My Dodge is an SRT, is it compatible?
A: Yes, it is compatible, but full use of Drive Modes and Performance Pages on-screen are not yet available. Please check with your advisor for the latest update.
Q: Do I need to inform Infotainment if my vehicle has aftermarket additions?
A: Yes. If your vehicle has non-factory additions, let us know in your Shopping Cart “Order Notes” so we can properly program and enable any required features that may not be present on your vehicle’s original build sheet.
