Product installation

Installation of this product would be rated a 3 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult.

Simply remove and replace your truck's side-view mirrors. Remove and replace the right front door module, the left front door module, and the left front door switch. Once the hardware installation is complete simply run the included OBD Genie C-FLD programmer by plugging it into the truck's OBDII port under the steering column. Once the green light appears the programming is complete! (2018 & 2019 model year owners will need to temporarily install an included Security Gateway Module Bypass device prior to using the OBD Genie C-FLD programmer)

Q: Can I use aftermarket mirrors with this power-folding mirror system?
A: These systems and components are specifically designed and tested to function with OEM mirrors. If you choose to source your own mirrors, please make sure they are OEM. We cannot guarantee compatibility or provide troubleshooting assistance when aftermarket mirrors are used.

Q: Does this kit include the correct door switch for my Ram?

A: This kit includes a 4-door switch. If your Ram requires a 2-door switch, please call our team to place a special order.

Q: Will the driver's side mirror have an auto-dimming feature?

A: The driver's side auto-dimming mirror will function as long as your truck is equipped with a factory-installed interior auto-dimming rearview mirror. Ram does not offer a passenger-side auto-dimming mirror.

Q: Will I retain my factory heated mirror functionality?

A: Yes. If your vehicle is currently equipped with heated mirrors, you will retain the factory heated mirror functionality with this upgrade.

Q: Will my order ship in multiple packages?

A: Depending on product availability and stock, your order may ship in two or three separate packages.

Q: Do these mirrors support 360 Surround Camera?

A: No. These side mirrors currently do not support 360 Surround Camera functionality.

Q: Do I need Tow Mirror reinforcements when upgrading to the 7x11 tow mirrors?

A: If you are upgrading from standard 6x9 mirrors to 7x11 tow mirrors and would like to add Tow Mirror reinforcements, please refer to the diagrams below for the appropriate reinforcement locations and installation information.

Q: Is this power-folding mirror upgrade compatible with trucks that have manual windows?

A: No. This upgrade is only compatible with trucks equipped with power windows and power door locks. If your truck has manual roll-up windows, this upgrade cannot be performed.

Q: How do I reprogram the power window auto-down feature after installation?

A: To reprogram the power window “auto-down” feature, hold the driver's or passenger's window switch in the downward position for 10 seconds.
