Things to Know

In rare cases, some trucks may not be pre-wired at the module connector for 12v power & ground. In this instance you may order the fuse jumper kit JL3Z-14A411-C to remedy the issue.
You can only add a factory trailer brake controller to F150's with a factory installed tow package featuring a receiver hitch and 2 trailer connection plugs (7 pin and 4 pin). If your truck doesn't have the Ford factory installed receiver and only has the 4 pin trailer plug and bumper hitch, this will not work for you.
