Product Installation

Installation of this product would be rated a 2 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected. Simply remove your dash “bezel” which is secured with retaining clips. Once removed this will allow clear access to the 4 screws that secure the radio to the dash. 2015-2016 Vehicles: Remove and replace your USB hub with the included CarPlay compatible USB hub.

Things To Know

  • If your Charger is a 2015 model and currently equipped with heated seats, ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and/or sport mode, you will need to purchase a new Body Control Module to maintain the ability to manually control these features. Once you have the module, it needs to be installed, and a PROXI Alignment must be performed at a local dealership.  CLICK HERE, for specifics about this solution.
    • Please note that any costs or fees associated with dealer services are not the responsibility of Infotainment.
  • Customers who own a 2015 or 2016 Charger will receive a replacement USB media hub. Simply remove your existing USB media hub and install the replacement for full Apple CarPlay compatibility.
  • Customers who are currently subscribed to the paid subscription of UConnect Access® will forfeit this feature by upgrading to the new UConnect 4 system (which now uses Sirius Guardian®). At this time, it is extremely rare that Sirius Guardian will allow for a service retrofit.
  • Designed for vehicles already equipped with either a 5-inch or 8.4-inch touchscreen radio. A replacement radio dash bezel is not required.
  • Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle’s existing steering wheel mounted audio controls.
  • If your vehicle is currently equipped with Sirius satellite radio then the factory roof mounted Sirius antenna will plug directly into our pre-programmed system. This scenario allows for seamless integration of the satellite radio feature including the GPS signal required to operate the UAQ internal GPS navigation mapping.
  • If your vehicle is not currently equipped with Sirius satellite radio and you don’t ever intend to subscribe to satellite radio you still must purchase our FAKRA C to K Cable separately to retain the vehicle’s existing GPS/Compass antenna which is required to operate the UAQ internal GPS navigation mapping.
  • If your vehicle is not currently equipped with Sirius satellite radio and you would like to subscribe to this great feature simply purchase our Custom SiriusXM GPS Antenna Kit.
  • If your current radio features Sirius® Travel Link and Sirius® Traffic it will be retained with the UAQ upgrade. If you would like to add this feature to the UAQ, simply purchase our OBD Genie C-STL Programmer.

    Chrysler kept giving me the run around saying I couldn’t order a radio for my 2018 charger that had navigation cause it didn’t come that way. Proved them wrong at the dealership once again…. Thanks for providing a radio for my charger that has navigation.

    It is Easy to install and it is was exactly what was I expecting it to be. Such a great product. Recommend to getting one of these for sure no doubt about it. Better look on interior of my dodge charger for a fact.

    This radio worked perfectly on my 2015 Charger SE. Install was simple for the radio. The USB module in the center console was a bit more complicated and took time, but it was not difficult. I completed the whole job in three hours. Carplay works perfect. The only thing I have had some issue with is the temperature settings. My car seems to have a lot more gradation than the radio allows. Going to hot to cool has about 12 steps, while the radio thinks it should be about 5. No worries, the manual buttons still work fine, there is just no visual feedback. I am very impressed with the upgrade and adding Nav, HD radio, and Carplay to my car. Money well spent!!

          Infotainment.com strives to ship all orders within 1-2 business days. However, all orders come with our “Compatibility Guarantee” which reassures customers that what they purchase will be verified and sometimes programmed by a qualified technician for the customer’s exact vehicle. This process may delay the shipment depending on sales volume. If by day five (5) the order hasn’t shipped, the customer will get an email from customer service with an update regarding the status of their order. If a product is considered back-ordered or a special order it will be noted within the product advertisement or by the sales agent. In this case, order fulfillment may take as little as 2 weeks or as many as 6 weeks. 
           
              • Infotainment.com uses the US Postal Service, UPS, and FedEx as package carriers
              • Orders are shipped Monday – Friday (excluding holidays)
              • Infotainment.com fulfills orders from 5 different locations in North America. Individual items within the order may ship from different locations with different tracking numbers
              • Shipments are not able to be re-directed by the customer after being sent
              • Next Day or Overnight shipping may be available on a case-by-case basis depending on the product and the technician labor that may be required.Not all expedited shipping methods are available to all locations.
              • All orders will be assigned a tracking number. You will be emailed the tracking number once the shipping label is created. This can be tracked via the link in the email or directly on the carriers website.

           

          Domestic Shipping:

          Infotainment.com is proud to offer FREE SHIPPING to anywhere in the U.S.A on any order over $99! – Orders that qualify for free shipping will be shipped via a carrier and shipping method that is at the discretion of Infotainment.com. Transit time for a order using free shipping can be as much as seven (7) business days (ground economy shipping). Expedited shipping is an option and offered within checkout. Next Day or Overnight shipping is only offered on a case-by-case basis.
           
           

          Canada & International Shipping:

          Infotainment.com packages and ships orders to every continent in the world. Items shipped to Canada or internationally from the U.S.A will incur a shipping fee and applicable duties/taxes which is the sole responsibility of the customer. International shipment transit times range from 3-21 days. 
           
           

          Lost / Missing / Stolen Shipments

          Infotainment.com is not responsible or liable for lost, missing, or stolen shipments. It is recommended that a customer opts for signature confirmation and/or package insurance prior to checkout to help mitigate the liability of losing their shipment. Otherwise, customers are encouraged to monitor the expected delivery date of their order and make arrangements to accept a successful package delivery personally. If the order has been marked as delivered and the package is not found, the customer is encouraged to do their due diligence immediately to locate the missing package. The customer is encouraged to contact Infotainment.com customer service for assistance with his/her investigation.
           

          General:

              • Verify the shipping address used within checkout to ensure it is correct
              • Look for a notice of attempted delivery
              • Look around the delivery location for your package. Many times carriers will place the package in a location that isn’t typical, ie. behind the fence, by the garage, near the mailbox, etc. 
              • See if someone else accepted the delivery such as a family member or neighbor. In recent past, customers have found the package mixed with other family member’s packages inside their home several days after delivery.
           

          For missing UPS/FedEx shipped packages:

              • A UPS1-800-742-5877 or FedEx1-800-463-3339 trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. This process takes up to 8 business days to be completed.
           

          For missing USPS packages:

              • A US Postal Service 1-800-222-1811 trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. Many times USPS will suggest that it will take an extra 7 business days after the expected date of delivery to locate the package.

          For missing packages that have been shipped to an APO/FPO:

              • Please note that the Military Postal Service Agency does not consider a package to be lost until 60 days after the date of mailing. If the customer still has not received their package after 60 days then please contact customer service to assist you in filing a missing package inquiry with the MPSA. Once the inquiry is received, the MPSA will be in contact to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient should it be found.

          In the event a lost or missing package is not recovered within 14-days (domestic shipments) or 30-days (international shipments) a police report may be required at the discretion of the customer support manager. All part numbers and/or serial numbers are recorded prior to shipping, this vital information will assist the police with the investigation. Depending solely on the circumstances, the customer support manager may opt to release another identical shipment requiring a direct signature of the original buyer.
