Product Installation
Installation of this product would be rated a 2 out of 5. 1 being extremely easy and 5 being extremely difficult. It is recommended prior to installing any automotive electronics that the negative battery terminal be disconnected. Remove and replace your existing radio by removing the radio “bezel” dash surround trim held in with only retaining clips. Once removed, this will allow access to the 4 screws that secure the radio to the dash.
If you need any assistance along the way please feel free to visit our YouTube page or contact our customer support department.
Things To Know
- If your Durango is a 2014 and currently features heated seats, ventilated seats, and/or heated steering wheel you will need an extra module to retain those features. See our 4C Retrofit Interface.
- If your Durango is a 2014 or 2015 you will need to purchase a rear climate control module at your local Dodge dealer (Part Number 68368988AA). See more information on why this is required by clicking HERE.
- Customers who own a 2014-2017 Durango will receive a replacement USB media hub. Simply remove your existing USB media hub and install the replacement for full Apple CarPlay compatibility.
- Customers who are currently subscribed to the paid subscription of UConnect Access® will forfeit this feature by upgrading to the new UConnect 4 system (which now uses Sirius Guardian®). At this time, it is extremely rare that Sirius Guardian will allow for a service retrofit.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle’s existing steering wheel mounted audio controls.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle’s existing back-up rear view camera. If you would like to add a rear view back-up camera check out most popular plug & play OBD Genie Rear View Camera Bundle.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle’s existing roof-mounted Sirius® satellite radio antenna. If you would like to add SiriusXM satellite radio capability to your vehicle check out our plug & play Custom SiriusXM GPS Antenna Kit. If your current radio features Sirius® Travel Link and Sirius® Traffic it will be retained with the UAQ upgrade. If you would like to add this feature to the UAQ, simply purchase our OBD Genie C-STL Programmer.
- Pre-programmed to function with your vehicle’s existing UConnect® bluetooth hands-free calling feature. Simply re-pair your phone to the new radio once installed.

Lost / Missing / Stolen Shipments
General:
- Verify the shipping address used within checkout to ensure it is correct
- Look for a notice of attempted delivery
- Look around the delivery location for your package. Many times carriers will place the package in a location that isn’t typical, ie. behind the fence, by the garage, near the mailbox, etc.
- See if someone else accepted the delivery such as a family member or neighbor. In recent past, customers have found the package mixed with other family member’s packages inside their home several days after delivery.
For missing UPS/FedEx shipped packages:
- A UPS1-800-742-5877 or FedEx1-800-463-3339 trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. This process takes up to 8 business days to be completed.
For missing USPS packages:
- A US Postal Service 1-800-222-1811 trace investigation must be initiated as soon as possible. Many times USPS will suggest that it will take an extra 7 business days after the expected date of delivery to locate the package.
For missing packages that have been shipped to an APO/FPO:
- Please note that the Military Postal Service Agency does not consider a package to be lost until 60 days after the date of mailing. If the customer still has not received their package after 60 days then please contact customer service to assist you in filing a missing package inquiry with the MPSA. Once the inquiry is received, the MPSA will be in contact to positively identify the owner and ship the item to the recipient should it be found.
In the event a lost or missing package is not recovered within 14-days (domestic shipments) or 30-days (international shipments) a police report may be required at the discretion of the customer support manager. All part numbers and/or serial numbers are recorded prior to shipping, this vital information will assist the police with the investigation. Depending solely on the circumstances, the customer support manager may opt to release another identical shipment requiring a direct signature of the original buyer.

Rated 5 out of 5I am so happy with this radio. i went from the tiny screen to this and its a game changer. super smooth and the android auto is awesome. install was extremely easy you honestly don’t even need a tutorial for it. it took me about 10 minutes to do mine. That was removing the trim and removing the screws and putting it back together. i did forget to order the GPS/Sirus antenna for it but it will be here soon. only thing i noticed is the lights on the USB port stay on after you turn off the vehicle and it tends to stays on for a while. i didn’t sit there and watch it to find out how long but it doesn’t seem to be draining the battery or anything. If you’re looking for an upgrade definitely just go with UAQ.

Rated 5 out of 5I was so glad I updated! I have Android Auto in my other 2 vehicles and wanted to add to the Durango as well. The installation was really as easy as shown in the video above. My fat fingers made disconnecting the cables on the back of the head unit a little challenging but otherwise the install was smooth. One thing that I have had a problem with is that the LED lights around the USB ports stay on long after the vehicle has been shut down. They seem to shut off somewhere between 2-8 hours after I have left the vehicle. There does not seem to be any issues with battery drain. I may go to the dealer to see if that can be addressed in the future. Even with the LED issue, I am 100% satisfied with the new unit.
