Q: Will this upgrade require an antitheft code?

A: Yes, the upgrade will require a 4-digit antitheft code. We will conveniently provide a card with the specific code as well as a sticker applied to the radio.

Q: Will this upgrade work right away after installation?

A: Yes, the system will function upon installation, but please allow up to 48 hours for the system to fully sync and acclimate to your vehicle for all features to appear on-screen.

Q: Will my rear backup camera continue to work as designed?

Q: Is SiriusXM™ satellite radio supported?

A: Yes, the system is pre-programmed for full SiriusXM satellite radio functionality and will work plug & play with your existing roof-mounted antenna.

Q: Will my steering wheel audio controls continue to work?

A: Yes. The system is pre-programmed to work with your factory steering wheel-mounted audio controls.

Q: Will my factory Bluetooth hands-free calling still work?

A: Yes. The upgrade is fully pre-programmed to function with your existing Uconnect™ Bluetooth hands-free calling system. If your vehicle does not have UConnect and you would like to add this incredible safety feature check out our plug & play UConnect Hands Free Kit. Once installed, simply pair your phone to the new system.

Q: Do I need to inform Infotainment if my vehicle has aftermarket additions?

A: Yes. If your vehicle has non-factory additions, let us know in your Shopping Cart “Order Notes” so we can properly program and enable any required features that may not be present on your vehicle’s original build sheet.
